Based in Vancouver, Washington, Blake Huegel has owned and led operations at Cedar Highlands Care since 2012. He established the company to provide senior family members with comprehensive care services, particularly individuals impacted by paralysis or dementia. Over the years, Blake Huegel has expanded the Cedar Highlands Care team to include from eight to 10 caregivers, allowing each resident to have a dedicated caregiver.
In 2020, Blake Huegel expanded his professional activities by becoming the owner and chief operator of Belamour, an assisted living facilities network consisting of six locations. Each facility provides the same level of care as the staff at Cedar Highlands Care. His areas of expertise in the assisted living space include respite care, bed-bound care, nurse delegation, and physical therapy.
Blake Huegel previously spent four years as the foreman at Wolf Industries, a job that involved project management, employee oversight, and various additional leadership responsibilities. He holds a physical therapy degree from Clark College, and received a Park College Rising Star Award for his business entrepreneurship efforts.
